چکیده
Hemangioma is a rare, non-reactive, benign vascular tumor, characterized by endothelial cell proliferations and results from malformation. mostly occurs on head neck skin regresses spontaneously within 5-10 years in 50-90% of cases. However, oral lesions show less regression than lesions. The most commonly affected area tongue palatal mucosa, rarely observed jaw bones. Diagnosis based anamnesis clinical features. Blanching the hemangioma under pressure characteristic finding. Phlebolith calcified thrombus veins, venules sinusoidal walls hemangiomas. Head phleboliths almost always indicate soft tissue hemangioma. Phleboliths with region have distinctive appearance panoramic radiographs. Cone-beam computed tomography provides useful information about location distribution phleboliths. In this case report, radiological features many associated are presented.

Rare cavernous haemangioma of the oral cavity with numerous phleboliths
Hemangiomas are tumors of blood vessels identified by rapid endothelial cell proliferation in early infancy followed by involution over time. All other abnormalities are malformations resulting from anomalous development of vascular plexuses. This lesion in the oral cavity is not common. Despite its benign origin and behaviour, it is always of clinical importance to the dental profession and re...
متن کاملSubmandibular cavernous hemangiomas with multiple phleboliths masquerading as sialolithiasis.
Vasoformative tumors (almost exclusively hemangiomas) are the most common lesions of the major salivary glands during infancy and early childhood. They are more common in the parotid gland but are particularly rare in the submandibular gland. Changes in blood flow dynamics within hemangiomas result in thrombus formation and phleboliths. Hemangiomas of the salivary glands in adults are histologi...
متن کاملIntramuscular hemangioma presenting with multiple phleboliths: a case report.
A rare case of intramuscular hemangioma of the masseter muscle with multiple phleboliths is described, highlighting features evident in plain radiography, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A 21-year-old woman presented with a complaint of swelling of the right masseter muscle. A plain radiograph from the soft tissue of the right cheek showed a large number of round, target-like ...
متن کاملIntraoral venous malformation with phleboliths.
The most common type of vascular malformation is the venous malformation and these are occasionally associated with phleboliths. We report a case of a 45 year old woman with intraoral venous malformation with phleboliths.
متن کاملCavernous hemangioma with multiple phleboliths of the parotid gland in adult masquerading assialolithiasis
Objectives: Hemangiomas account for 0.4%-0.6% of all tumors of the parotid gland and are extremely rare in adults. Changes in blood flow dynamics within hemangiomas result in thrombus formation and phleboliths. We present a case of cavernous hemangioma with multiple phleboliths of the parotid gland masquerading assialolithiasis in an adult patient. Methods: A 43-year-old woman visited our hospi...
